ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) It is a voluntary international standard that ensures the traceability and sustainability of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods throughout the entire supply chain.
The certification attests to compliance with rigorous criteria in the management of materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products, ensuring that every stage of the process is monitored and documented. In particular, the system requires that all operators in the supply chain be certified and that materials be accompanied by a Sustainability Declaration, issued for each shipment and verifiable throughout the entire process.
ISCC PLUS is based on a chain-of-custody system in which every step is tracked and verified: non-certified operators are not authorized to handle or claim sustainable materials, thereby ensuring the reliability of information throughout the supply chain.

The system also incorporates a mass balance model, which allows finished products to be verifiably linked to sustainable sources, ensuring transparency without requiring a direct physical correspondence between inputs and outputs.
