BIO GREEN GLOSS: the plant-based, biodegradable and compostable PLA film.
As part of the ecological transition and the growing focus on low environmental impact materials, Mag Data invites you to discover BIO GREEN GLOSS, a PLA (polylactic acid) film that fully meets the requirements of sustainability, compostability and biodegradability.
This film is made from corn starch and other renewable resources of plant origin. BIO GREEN GLOSS is part of the growing range of sustainable solutions offered by Mag Data. These include low environmental impact BOPP films with reduced thicknesses, recycled PET films containing over 90% polymer from post-consumer recycling (such as water bottles) and cellulose acetate, obtained from wood pulp and cotton, also entirely of plant origin.
The PLA used is certified compostable in industrial plants according to the EN 13432 standard, which means that, under controlled conditions, the material degrades completely in a few weeks, turning into compost without leaving toxic residues or microplastics.
From the point of view of biodegradability, BIO GREEN GLOSS is capable of natural decomposition by microorganisms present in the environment, without damaging ecosystems or water resources. This property makes it a particularly suitable solution for companies that want to reduce their environmental footprint throughout the product life cycle.
The film is available in a thickness of 15 microns,is equipped with a corona-treated side (suitable for printing and finishing) and a heat-sealing side, which guarantees excellent performance in the lamination and packaging processes.
BIO GREEN GLOSS is ideal for:
