Mag Data has among his clients several paper and board converters. The range of films represents the most suitable material for the protection and embellishment of their products.
In this sector, as in the visual communication one, the digital print took an important role. It made faster, more flexible and customized the production of counter, self-stand and point-of-sale display units, boxes, cases, cardboard cutouts and trays.
The UV print (roll or flatbed) is the most used digital technology for this type of production. It allows you to obtain produts of high quality.
Some of them need protection or enhancement. In this phase, some issues might come up, since the UV inks could prevent the right adhesion of the lamination film.
To solve this issue, it's possible to use a pressure sensitive adhesive film. However, the price might be too high, when the production volumes or the distribution chain entail a greater competitiveness.
In this case, the best decision is to use a thermal film. It is economically more convenient, eco-friendly and transparent. At the same time, it guarantees a good level of grip on the print.
Ultradigy Wide Format is the Mag Data film that satisfies these requirements. The higher level of adhesion between the thermal films for digital print available on the market, combined with a price that allows to reduce from 50% to 75% the cost compared to a pressure sensitive adhesive film.
Ultradigy Wide format is available with a matt or gloss finish, in standard sizes up to 1600mm and on request up to 2000mm.
